This tour begins at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, after which you will be taken to Kapama reserve and treated to a safari game drive. Watch the sunset with a drink in your hand and family by your side.
A Lapa dinner will be served and you will be able to enjoy dinner in the beautiful African bushveld.
The first part of the excursion takes place at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.
Our guests are welcomed and following an introductory video, guests are taken in an Open Safari Vehicle for a tour of the centre. Moving between the various enclosures, guests can view (and learn more about) several endangered and threatened species of animal - including cheetah, wild dogs, black-footed cats, African wild cats, ground hornbills and sable antelope.
After leaving the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, guests are taken to Kapama for a night drive in the reserve, which includes a stop for bush sundowners and a lapa dinner.
Evening allows guests to experience the beauty and intrigue of the African bush as nocturnal creatures emerge from their daytime resting places. Animals and birds rarely seen during the day are active at night, so this is a very different experience from a day time safari. The ranger will share his knowledge of myths, customs, and ancient beliefs, as he points out medicinal and plants and trees, and assists guests to indulge in a little star gazing in the velvet African sky.
